Responsibilities

• Reviewing job tickets and verifying stock, inks, and dies are available and used as specified.
• Sets up machine; installs anilox, inks, correct stock, die, and plates.
• Sets impressions and registers print-to-print and print-to-die.
• Loads the specified type of paper and adds ink.
• Adjusts the press to the paper size and feeds the paper through the press cylinders.
• Completes all start-up checks and gets start approval.
• Performs general maintenance to the press.
• Follows 6S guidelines assigned to the work area and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Requires a high school diploma or general education degree (G.E.D.).
• Requires at least three years of relevant experience in label press operation in a manufacturing environment.
• Top-notch flexo skills on complex jobs.
• Possess a 'can-do' and TEAMWORK attitude.
• Careful attention to detail.
• High expectations for quality.
• Experience running a flexographic color label press.
• Ability to operate with minimal scrap.
• Above-average productivity.
