About The Position

The Flexarome Packer is responsible for accurately weighing, filling, and labeling liquid chemical materials, utilizing various computer systems including MES (manufacturing execution system) and SAP for inventory and quality control. The position requires adherence to strict safety protocols, proper equipment usage, and effective communication with the team to ensure a clean and organized work environment. The role requires adherence to quality standards and the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent or prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• 1-year chemical manufacturing experience preferred
• Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
• Must be able to tolerate strong odors and allergens
• Ability to be on your feet for 8-hour shift
• Frequently lift a 35 lb. product hose

Nice To Haves

• 1-year chemical manufacturing experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and fill liquid chemical materials into containers according to instructions and recipes.
• Follow packing procedures including scanning to validate materials, precision weighing using weight assisted computer (WAC), testing scales, using correct scales, etc.
• Utilization of computer systems Weight Assisted Computer (WAC); Manufacturing Execution System (MES); and SAP
• Use SAP to inventory containers, inputting total actual amount packed, confirm actual pack-out and scrap loss, confirm delivery quantity matches confirmed quantity
• Strict adherence to labeling protocol, including printing/reprinting Labels, selecting label sizes according to container types, proper placement of labels on containers, proper disposal of extra or ruined labels
• Close containers including, properly crimping containers, and apply tamper evidence seals
