Requirements

• At least 21 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to stand for up to 8-hour periods
• Ability to do extensive walking and stair climbing
• Ability to lift up to 10lbs
• Valid state licensing, if applicable
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks

• Previous security experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Deter criminal activity and protect property
• Enforce rules on a property
• Monitor surveillance cameras and alarms from a stationary position
• Patrol areas and conduct security checks
• Provide protection for equipment and workers in factories and offices
• Check credentials of vehicles and individuals entering and exiting the premises
• Perform foot or vehicle patrols to detect suspicious behavior
• Greet residents and guests, check identification, and control access to the property
• Acknowledge and greet all guests with courtesy and urgency, monitor CCTV camera systems, and distribute packages.
