About The Position

The Senior Manager Adobe Engineer at Marriott will leverage Adobe's Experience Cloud products to fulfill digital objectives, focusing on implementing and maintaining Adobe Target test campaigns, tracking user behavior, and managing third-party marketing tags. This role is crucial for supporting the Digital Experiments Group and involves ongoing migration to new page technologies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or IT, or equivalent education and related training.
• Minimum of five years of development or IT support experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
• Working knowledge of Adobe Target and Adobe Tags, ideally across multiple products in Adobe Experience Cloud.
• Advanced knowledge in JavaScript, AJAX, HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, and SQL.
• Experience testing cross-browser compatibility and implementing UI/visual designs within ADA and security principles.
• Familiarity with DOM/Object-Oriented Design, Web Services (REST/SOAP), and Multimedia Content.
• Proven experience dynamically interacting with the Browser DOM via JavaScript.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with page-level data layer and proxy tools such as Chrome developer tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot scripting issues on digital platforms using browser's console.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain Adobe Target test campaigns in support of the Digital Experiments Group.
• Track user behavior on the web and app through link tracking and page-load data capture.
• Install third-party marketing tags and create new data pipes for transferring data to partners.
• Troubleshoot issues regarding analytics tracking and Adobe Target test campaigns.
• Collaborate with platform product teams to ensure stable releases and functional alignment.
• Deploy interactive programs and temporary code fixes across owned channels.
• Ensure system uptime for capabilities deployed within the environment.
