Requirements

• Have 6+ months of security-related experience.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by following Allied Universal security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a technology-focused location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or public responders as required.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, work areas, loading and delivery zones, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas by observing visitor flow, verifying authorization as directed, and reporting suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
• Complete detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and maintenance issues, and communicate updates during shift transitions to support continuity of operations.
