About The Position

The position involves managing the handling and organization of samples within a retail or showroom environment. The role requires daily tasks such as unpacking, checking in, and packing samples, as well as maintaining communication across departments to ensure smooth operations. This is a flexible, on-call position that adapts to the volume of work.

Requirements

• A Bachelor's or Associates Degree and/or equivalent experience.
• 1+ years of experience in sample handling and/or inventory management within a retail or showroom environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, organization, and time management skills.
• Ability to meet urgent deadlines and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• A self-motivated and dependable work ethic.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Ability to lift 30 pounds, bend, stretch, and stand for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Unpack, hang, re-tag, check in, and pack samples for various categories daily.
• Update appropriate departments when samples are received, checked-in, and shipped.
• Support Studio Operations in-studio and Fulfillment center by picking merchandise and prepping for the studio.
• Maintain knowledge of location and status of samples throughout the production process.
• Manage disposition of samples following photo shoots.
• Communicate cross-departmentally, meet deadlines, and identify discrepancies during the check-in process.
