About The Position

This is a temporary position. As a FLEX Manager, Ad Ops you will play a pivotal role in Marriott’s future by developing processes to execute and scale advertising operations across MARRIOTT MEDIA, Marriott’s fast growing commerce media network. You will provide critical media management functions for advertising campaigns and will serve as the point of escalation for any issues with ad deployment or performance. You are expected to be versatile and willing to tackle complex technical problems to ensure the media program scales and grows efficiently and effectively. Reporting into the Sr. Manager, Ad Ops Lead, you will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end execution of advertising campaigns across MARRIOTT MEDIA’s owned digital (web, email, app), offsite digital (programmatic & paid social), and on-property (guest room TV, Wi-Fi Portal). This role includes managing campaign setup within internal platforms, supporting QC / deployment reviews, confirming campaigns align with best practices, and ensuring internal and external stakeholders are engaged in operations as needed. You are naturally curious and stay current on the MarTech / AdTech ecosystem, digital marketing, and commerce media landscape.

Requirements

  • 4-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
  • 3+ years of experience in digital media and/or retail/commerce media with a strong product or operations background
  • 1+ years of experience with ad-serving technologies (e.g., Google Ad Manager, Koddi, Magnite)
  • Strong understanding of programmatic, managed service, on/offsite advertising, and online advertising operations and technology
  • Fluent in digital media and online measurement: impressions, CTR, CPMs, eCPMs, uniques, pageviews, visits, viewability, demo comps, etc.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, or related major
  • Familiarity with HTML, JavaScript, and browser developer tools for QA & troubleshooting purposes
  • Familiarity with display, search, and social advertising and key platforms (e.g., Google Ads, Meta, etc.)
  • Familiarity with demand-side platforms (e.g., The Trade Desk, Google Display & Video 360, etc.)
  • Knowledge of digital media channels, operations, and online advertising

Responsibilities

  • Support all aspects of campaign production & execution, including ad unit development, campaign creation, trafficking tags & creative, targeting implementation, and campaign QC.
  • Create process mapping and support the development of operational roadmaps & document considerations for potential solution integrations and technology deployments.
  • Work closely with Product team and technical providers to ensure delivery and flawless execution of campaigns.
  • Directly support troubleshooting & reconciliation processes, serving as the escalation point around all operational issues.
  • Review and analyze campaigns daily to ensure full delivery and optimize performance.
  • Oversee advertising operations performance metrics and produce regular reporting to identify potential optimization opportunities.
  • Provide Sales & Media Planning teams with campaign insights and recommendations to improve performance and pacing.
  • Collaborate with the billing team to ensure Ad Operations processes & reporting enable the billing team to execute invoicing, reconciliation, and reporting.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to ensure that all campaign creative needs are fulfilled on time and to advertiser & Marriott’s specifications and standards.
  • Ensure campaigns deliver against performance expectations.
