About The Position

The Flex Machine Operator at GoGo Squeez is responsible for operating various high-speed production machines, ensuring quality control, and assisting with sanitation and other projects as needed. This role is crucial for maintaining production efficiency and product quality in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED preferred.
• Prior experience as a Machine Operator or similar position in a manufacturing environment.
• Prior experience in the food industry is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal, reading, writing).
• Ability to plan work and anticipate problems.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Basic computer skills, including data entry and experience with an ERP system in a production environment preferred.
• Basic math skills, including competency with weights and measures.

• Technical/Trade School education preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Tetra Pak machine for mixing materials and products.
• Load ingredients into Tetra Pak machine according to specifications.
• Operate high-speed manufacturing equipment through touchscreen/HMI.
• Read schematics and diagrams to monitor machine activity.
• Test PH levels, viscosity levels, and brix levels using quality devices.
• Receive and inspect materials based on specifications.
• Operate Volpak/Bossar Machine for form, fill, and seal pouches.
• Lift and add rolls of packaging film into the machine.
• Observe materials for contamination or foreign materials.
• Inspect pouches for uniformity and quality.
• Document necessary supply inventories.
• Operate Ixapak/End of Line Machine for packaging.
• Reset robotic arm positions after line shutdown.
• Load packaging materials into the machine.
• Set machine for different size packaging sleeves.
• Monitor materials for contamination during the manufacturing process.
• Conduct quality testing and record data accurately.
• Perform troubleshooting and basic maintenance of equipment.
• Operate industrial carts and power hand carts.
• Break down machinery for cleaning and sanitizing.
• Complete daily paperwork and reports.
• Perform sensory testing.
• Support a food safety and food quality culture.
