Responsibilities Position: Fleet Vehicle Manager, DOT Shuttle Operations Salary Range: $80,000.00 to $87,000.00 per year
Requirements
- Prior progressive supervisory or management experience in a transportation environment preferred.
- Qualified candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Per DOT Regulations, you will be required to have and maintain a valid CDL Class A, B or C Driver's License depending on the location's hiring needs, with Passenger Endorsement if you will be responsible for operating shuttle buses with a passenger capacity of 15 passengers or more.
- A Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
- Special shift requirements, if any, will vary depending on a location's hiring needs. If applicable, availability to work 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or week-ends may be required.
- Qualified candidates must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for overseeing the fleet and vehicle maintenance operations for a DOT shuttle operation.
- Work with the on-site manager to prepare repair, maintenance and cleaning schedules; assign, perform, and supervise the work product.
- Oversee daily functions of the maintenance staff employees to ensure quality and timely completion of daily, weekly, monthly and annual repari, maintenance and cleaning projects.
- Conduct daily inspects on cleaning, maintenance and repair projects to ensure that quality standards are met.
- Direct and manage routine cleaning, maintenance and repair, including power washing, slurring, restriping, sweeping and commercial painting.
