This is a full-time industrial level auto-mechanic position, responsible for performing maintenance, running diagnostics and repairing our medium to heavy duty diesel trucks and trailers. You will inspect fleet vehicles, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and play a crucial role in keeping our trucks safe and on the road! Job Details: Schedule: 2nd Shift 11:00am - 7:30pm Mon - Fri Pay: $30:00 - $33.00/HR DOE
Requirements
- High School Diploma (or GED) required
- 2-4 years diagnostic, maintenance and repair of Class 7 & 8 diesel trucks and trailers required
- Own set of tools and understanding the best practice for how to use required tools
Nice To Haves
- ASE Certified Diesel Mechanic preferred
Responsibilities
- Maintain diesel equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements.
- Determine vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests
- Keep equipment available for use by completing preventive maintenance schedules.
- Correct vehicle deficiencies by removing, repairing, adjusting, overhauling, assembling, disassembling, and replacing major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, parts, or systems, such as, power and drive trains, electrical, air conditioning, fuel, emission, brake, steering, hydraulics.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
