About The Position

Come join our Reyes Fleet Management team at our Chicago Beverage Systems location in Chicago, IL. Seeking a Fleet Technician/Mechanic A for our growing fleet shop who distribute to multiple beverage brands. Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift Sunday-Thursday 8:00PM-4:30AM Pay: $39.50/HR + 0.25 Shift Differential = $39.75/HR Perks and Benefits: ASE certification incentive pay Paid Time off and holiday pay Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment Health, dental, and vision coverage Reyes Rewards and referral bonuses Union Benefits Position Responsibilities: The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy" You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam) You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 to 4 years of related experience
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
  • Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles
