Responsibilities

• Inspects, repairs, and maintains mechanical components on heavy diesel-powered equipment.
• Performs mechanical work on heavy and large equipment using a variety of hand tools.
• Troubleshoots and diagnoses electrical and mechanical systems, including Multiplex electrical systems.
• Conducts vehicle safety inspections and performs preventive maintenance tasks.
• Repairs engines, transmissions, hydraulic and air systems, and specialty equipment.
• Performs field service calls to repair general and heavy equipment.
• Tests repaired vehicles and equipment, analyzing and evaluating defects.
• Installs, diagnoses, and repairs GPS, routing, camera, and onboard tablet systems.
• Maintains accurate records of maintenance data and work performed.
• Attends technical services classes to stay updated on new equipment and procedures.
