What You Will Do: Carry out regular maintenance and repairs on vehicles and building equipment to guarantee efficient performance. Maintain company vehicles by keeping them well-lubricated, fueled, and cleaned. Service automotive equipment by lubricating, changing oil, repairing tires, washing, and packing wheel bearings. Repair and maintain construction equipment, ensuring they meet our high standards. Assist with mounting vehicle toolboxes, welding equipment, generators, and compressors. Complete necessary records of work performed with outstanding accuracy. Perform other related duties as assigned to contribute to the overall success of the team. Mechanical and electrical diagnostic and repairs of different vehicles

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent, and 3 years of directly related experience; OR Vocational/trade school certificate in related program and 1 year of directly related experience
  • Expertise in the upkeep and repair of passenger and light duty-trucks, medium- to heavy-duty trucks, and servicing off-road/construction equipment.
  • Knowledge of using and caring for machinery in the automotive and construction sectors.
  • Communicate effectively, orally and in writing
  • Identify diverse sound varieties for equipment assessment
  • manage unexpected scenarios such as flat tires
  • repair tools linked to vehicles and construction using hand and power devices.
  • Traveling in rugged conditions may be expected
  • Possession of own hand tools
  • A current driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
  • Must possess, or acquire within a reasonable timeframe, a commercial driver's license.
  • 3-5 year's experience working with mechanical and electrical diagnostics of vehicles

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's degree and 3 years of directly related experience; OR 5 years directly related experience as a fleet technician or equivalent
  • Knowledge and experience with CNG equipment is an asset
  • Possession of current/valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
  • Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification
