About The Position

Maintains and repairs company vehicles and installation equipment so they are functioning and safe to operate. Supports the management and mission of Woods Basement Systems, Inc.

Requirements

• Knowledge of auto systems and how to repair problems.
• Skill in handling tools and equipment necessary to perform work.
• Skill in light welding, fabrication, tire Mount/dismount and diagnostic skills
• Attention to Detail

• Ability/Willingness to Learn
• Patience
• Integrity
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• One (1) year experience as an auto mechanic preferred; or,
• An equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must maintain driving record acceptable to insurance underwriters.

Responsibilities

• Assists mechanic in maintaining vehicles to meet Woods Basement Systems and Department of Transportation (DOT) regulatory requirements.
• Follows schedule to complete necessary maintenance and repair on vehicles, equipment and tools so they are functioning and safe to operate.
• Keeps mechanic shop neat, organized, orderly and safe.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
