About The Position

Pepsi Beverages North America (PBNA) is PepsiCo's beverage manufacturing, sales, and distribution operating unit. Fleet Mechanics play a key role in the success of our business by ensuring the reliability of our fleet and supporting the safety of our Drivers. This position offers great pay at a target of $34.00 per hour, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, and dental coverage starting on Day 1, retirement benefits, paid time off, and company-provided equipment such as an iPad, iPhone, uniforms, PPE, and a work boot allowance. Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • Position requires own basic hand tools; diagnostic and high-tech equipment will be provided.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (with or without accommodation).
  • Must be able to pass Forklift Driving Skills test (if applicable).
  • Experience with preventative maintenance programs and activities.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience removing and replacing mounted wheels to torque specs.
  • Experience working under limited supervision.
  • Experience using shop tools such as engine hoists and welding equipment.
  • Experience working with computers for diagnostics and maintenance documentation.
  • Training involving hydraulic and air brake systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles including automobiles, trucks, vans, and forklifts.
  • Utilize leading-edge technology and programs for diagnostics and maintenance tasks.
  • Diagnose vehicle failures and perform necessary repairs, including disassembly and reassembly of parts.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of vehicle maintenance and repairs, including work orders and vehicle records.
  • Support and adhere to safety standards and procedures in the workplace.
