About The Position

The Fleet Supply Assistant supports the fleet and service garage operations by coordinating parts procurement, inventory management, work order administration, and scheduling assistance. This role helps ensure fleet maintenance activities run efficiently and that mechanics have timely access to required parts and services.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid driver’s license and clean MVR

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in inventory control, parts management, fleet operations, or a maintenance-related environment preferred
• Basic knowledge of fleet, automotive, agricultural, or equipment parts is a plus
• Comfortable using computer systems, inventory software, and basic data entry tools
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

• Pick up fleet and equipment parts on a scheduled basis from various vendors and suppliers
• Receive, inventory, and organize incoming parts on shelving and within fleet management or inventory software systems
• Maintain accurate records of parts usage, stock levels, and replenishment needs
• Assist with entering and updating work orders to support fleet maintenance activities
• Assist with scheduling fleet repairs and maintenance work within the service garage
• Coordinate and arrange towing services to outside vendors as needed
• Communicate with vendors, mechanics, and management regarding parts availability, delivery timelines, and service needs
• Maintain a clean, organized parts and supply area to support safe and efficient operations
• Provide general administrative and operational support to the fleet and maintenance team as needed
