About The Position

This position is responsible for leading and directing the Tyson private fleet transportation team to achieve business and financial objectives. Responsibilities include: Driver management. On time service management. Driver safety management. Driver and load problem resolution. Other duties as assigned. 2nd Shift (Overnight/Flexible schedule): Could be 12 hour shift (6:00PM - 6:00AM) or 10 hour shift (5:00PM - 3:00AM).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred
• 1 year in transportation preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with Tyson Business Computer Systems, Sale Inventory SAP Transportation, and Warehousing Systems is a plus
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Acts as a team leader, providing functional supervision and training for other team members
• Occasional domestic trips (1-5 per year)
