About The Position

The Fleet Shop Manager at Reyes Fleet Management is responsible for overseeing the fleet shop operations in Las Vegas, NV. This role requires a blend of management skills and hands-on experience in fleet operations, ensuring optimal performance, safety, and compliance with regulations while managing costs and minimizing vehicle downtime.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree with 5 plus years of related experience and 2 plus years of management experience, or High School Diploma, GED, or Technical School Certification with 8 plus years of specific experience and 3 plus years of management experience.
• Valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Manage the in-house team of Technicians to ensure optimal performance, safety, and regulatory compliance while controlling costs and minimizing vehicle downtime.
• Oversee fleet maintenance operations, including repair quality, parts inventory control, budgeting, and compliance with company, state, and federal standards, including DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Utilize AssetWorks to manage and track fleet assets, ensuring accurate record-keeping, maintenance scheduling, and data analysis to improve asset performance and lifespan.
• Utilize and report on key performance metrics (KPI's) through PowerBI dashboards, providing data-driven insights to monitor facility performance and trends.
• Manage the fleet maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective operations by monitoring expenses and implementing strategies to enhance spending efficiency.
• Leverage extensive maintenance experience to oversee and guide all repair and preventative maintenance activities, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency across the fleet.
