About The Position
Fleet Service Workers service vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment, perform preventive maintenance, issue vehicles to employees, and perform basic diagnostic and repair work. Incumbents function as first-line supervisors who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned staff; assign and review work; and initiate disciplinary action. The Equipment Shop in Sparks, Nevada is recruiting for a highly skilled Fleet Service Worker 4. This senior level position is responsible for performing advanced maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles and equipment. The ideal candidate has a strong mechanical background, leadership experience, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
