About the position
Fleet Service Workers service vehicles and/or light, medium, and heavy construction and maintenance equipment, perform preventive maintenance, issue vehicles to employees, and perform basic diagnostic and repair work. Incumbents possess a degree of knowledge and proficiency sufficient to perform work independently with little or no additional training. This position is located in Las Vegas, Nevada. NDOT Equipment Shop is currently seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a Fleet Service Worker 3, to assist with a variety of maintenance and operational tasks.
Responsibilities
- Servicing equipment by lubricating parts, changing oil and filters, and performing other preventive maintenance to minimize repairs.
- Tire replacement.
- Washing vehicles.
- Supporting equipment movement as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness in the shop.
- Participating in yard clean-up to ensure a safe and organized work environment.
