Fleet Service Mechanic / Technician
About The Position
Johnson & Towers, a subsidiary of Indel Power Group, has an opening for B level Fleet Service Diesel Mechanics / Technicians at our location in Baltimore, Maryland. This individual must have previous experience as a technician. Indel Power Group is a distributor/dealer for major brands such as mtu, Detroit Diesel, Allison Transmission, Cummins, Caterpillar, Volvo Penta, Freightliner, Western Star, Isuzu, Autocar, and Crane Carrier to name a few. Requirements
- This position services fleet equipment at customer site
- Driving record must be in good standing
Responsibilities
- Perform skilled tasks in the diagnosis of malfunctions, repairs, preventative maintenance, adjustments, and overhauls
- Use OEM software, tools, and technologies to maintain, diagnose, and complete repairs to promptly address and resolve customer vehicle or equipment concerns
- Commitment to safety and cleanliness
- Maintain open communication with management team regarding job status, updates, and changes
