Requirements

  • Written & oral communications
  • Experience in Marine Field, three years preferred.

Responsibilities

  • To oversee and direct the implementation of the International Safety Management Code (ISM) onboard TCSC owned and/or operated vessels as well as within the shore side support staff.
  • Duties also include the oversight of the Fleet Medical /Fit for Duty Program as required.
  • Direct the implementation of ISM to ensure comply with Port State and ABS requirements and recommendations which apply to our vessels as updated, modified or amended from time to time.
  • Keep Senior Manager Fleet Regulatory Compliance and others up to date on status of compliance with ISM, Port State and ABS requirements as well as audits.
  • Prepare for and support audits by Port State and ABS as required.
  • Under the direction of the Senior Manager Fleet Regulatory Compliance carry out assigned duties of Company’s Designated Person Ashore as required by ISM.
  • Additional duties include coordination with managers of SubCom’ s EH&S Company Safety Programs and Legal and Compliance Department.
