About The Position

All Star Rents is a family owned Equipment Rental business established in 1962 and is operated by the 3rd generation of family members today. Our 13 locations provide sales and rentals of quality construction equipment, tools, and vehicles. This is a non-exempt (hourly) full-time position. Shifts are Monday-Friday and regularly end by 5:00pm. Bootcamp training- 90-day hands on training program includes everything you need to know about service our equipment and customers the All Star Rents way .

Requirements

18 years or older
Valid CA driver’s license with satisfactory record
Valid proof of eligibility to work in the US
Be able to lift 50lbs unaided in varying indoor/outdoor weather conditions
Minimum 1 year of Mechanical job experience required- services, inspections or fleet maintenance
Minimum 1 year experience with surface prep and painting
Computer Literacy- Typing and understanding computers/technology and basic software
Mechanical aptitude and knowledge of construction equipment- Certifications a plus!
Professional communication skills in English both written and verbal- Bilingual a plus!
Strong commitment to workplace safety

Responsibilities

Completing quality control inspections and performing repairs on construction and fleet equipment
Cleaning, refurbishing, sanding, priming and painting equipment to Company standards
Maintain fleet appearance, branding and corrosion control
Loading and unloading equipment
Keeping safety top priority
Display the ability to work independently and be self-motivated
Maintain a clean and organized work area
Partnership with branch and fleet mechanics as needed
Attending and assisting with training as applicable
Accurately completing work orders and related documentation
Traveling to various job sites as needed
Any tasks, processes, and procedures delegated by supervisor
Maintain professional appearance as a representative of All Star Rents
