We’re partnering with a cutting-edge autonomous ride-hailing company as they scale from R&D to commercial launch — and we’re hiring a Fleet Support Specialist to help keep their advanced vehicle fleet running safely, efficiently, and at peak performance. As a Fleet Support Specialist, you’ll play a critical role in fleet health, repair coordination, documentation, and reporting, working closely with technicians, engineers, and operations teams.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years experience in a fast-paced service or automotive environment
  • Familiarity with automotive repair processes and fundamentals
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication (email, Slack, documentation)
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean/excellent driving record
  • Ability to pass background check and drug screen
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% as needed

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Google Workspace / MS Office
  • Prior work in an automotive service, fleet, or repair shop environment

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate vehicle repair scheduling to minimize downtime
  • Monitor current and historical fleet health, generating action plans for open issues
  • Maintain accurate repair records and documentation
  • Support creation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly fleet reports
  • Perform quality inspections on repair orders to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Support parts ordering and availability for scheduled and unscheduled repairs
  • Close the loop on repair feedback to drive continuous improvement
  • Conduct monthly shop safety inspections and submit results to EHS
  • Interface with multiple teams to ensure smooth operational workflows
  • Work across internal systems (Jira, Confluence, ticketing tools, dashboards)
  • Create and manage work orders and maintenance tickets
  • Track parts requests, installations, and replacements
  • Support maintenance logging and upcoming service scheduling
  • Assist with vehicle calibrations, moves, and fleet readiness processes
