  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks in parallel.
  • Willingness to work in a fast-paced, evolving R&D environment.
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field or equivalent hands-on experience.
  • 1–4 years of experience in a technical operations/service, lab support, manufacturing, or field support role.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with mechanical, electrical, or robotic systems preferred.
  • Prior experience in lab, test, or production environments is a plus.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing and 5S/6S preferred.

  • Identify visible wear, damage, or abnormal behavior and escalate promptly.
  • Stage robots for experiments, testing, demos, and deployments.
  • Execute standard operating procedures consistently and reliably.
  • Track robot location, assignment, and availability throughout the day.
  • Coordinate robot handoffs between teams and shifts to ensure continuity.
  • Maintain organized fleet areas, charging stations, tools, and accessories.
  • Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives as the fleet scales.
  • Serve as the first observer for robot issues during handling, setup, or operation.
  • Log issues accurately in work tracking systems with clear descriptions and context.
  • Escalate issues to Robot Captains or Fleet Operations leadership according to defined procedures.
  • Update fleet status, readiness, and location in tracking systems.
  • Log health checks, incidents, and handoffs to maintain fleet visibility.
  • Follow standardized operating procedures for startups, shutdowns, and shift transitions.
