Successful candidates will perform preventative maintenance, diagnosis, service and repair of all vehicle and patient transport/securement systems. Successful applicants must be able to work safely, accurately diagnosis vehicle failures and perform repairs, assist in inventory control or other duties as necessary.

Requirements

  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
  • Self-confidence, emotional stability, good judgment, and tolerance for high stress
  • Possess good verbal communication skills .
  • Proficiency in both light diesel and gas vehicle repair.
  • Ability to utilize multiple computer systems, and accurately document all actions in MMT’s Fleet Management System

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience with repair and maintenance of ambulance or emergency vehicles is preferred.
  • ASE or manufacturers certifications preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Diagnoses, rebuilds, and repairs vehicles and equipment.
  • Performs inspections and preventive maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
  • Documents vehicle records in Fleet Management system.
  • Execute major and minor repairs of defective components and vehicle systems.
  • Sources and procures parts/supplies through MMT national accounts
  • Maintain work environment in an organized and safe condition
