The schedule for this opportunity will be first shift Monday through Friday, with overtime eligibility. As a Fleet Mechanic II, you can expect to: Operate automotive, construction and material handling equipment. Operate and repair hydraulic systems Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair. Perform DOT and manufacturer recommended servicing and inspections Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system. Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of related experience.
  • High school diploma or its equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
  • Customer focused, strong work ethic and positive.
  • Be a safety oriented individual.
  • CDL B license is required, but can be obtained after employment begins and training and reimbursement for both will be provided.
  • Candidates must provide truck technician hand tools.
  • This position is contingent upon your ability to pass a preemployment criminal history check and drug screen.

Nice To Haves

  • Diesel vocational/technical school certifications desired.
