About The Position

In the Fleet Mechanic role, you will repair, and maintain engines, transmissions and differentials, industrial trucks, light duty trucks, tank trucks, tractors, tank trailers, automobiles, and associated component parts, electrical systems, brake systems, and liquid pumping systems and equipment. Requirements

• Previous experience as a mechanic (fleet maintenance preferred)
• Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's motor vehicle policy
• Knowledge of shop equipment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Provide your own basic tools
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Clean and organized
• DOT Medical card

Responsibilities

• Gasoline or diesel engines
• Exhaust systems
• Transmissions and drive train components
• Cooling systems
• Fuel injection systems
• Electrical systems
• P.M. Maintenance
• Road Service
• Wheels, tires, shock absorbers, and brakes
• Body damage and body parts
• Pumping components and fuel hoses
• Perform LOF services
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer
