About The Position
Successful construction firm in Milwaukee is looking to hire a Fleet Mechanic Manager to oversee all company equipment from small engines and cranes to company trucks. Company has roughly 60 trucks and 250+ pieces of equipment. The ideal candidate is a strong mechanic with attention to detail.
Requirements
- 7+ years of related experience working on cars or trucks
- Knowledge of car, truck, small engine repair
- Strong computer skills to track quotes and equipment
- Insurable driver record
- Background check is required
Nice To Haves
- Class A CDL is a plus (company will send and pay for Class A training)
Responsibilities
- Repair of trucks, cranes, and small engine equipment
- Change brakes and perform oil changes
- Quote outside repair work and manage timingTrack equipment that is sent out for major repairs
- Mange one tech
- Manage materials in the shop and keep organized
- Handle basic building maintenance
