About The Position

Together with our 11 local Member cooperatives, we generate and transmit reliable, affordable electricity to the communities we proudly call home. This fleet mechanic position maintains Cooperative Energy vehicles and equipment operation by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; and does related work as required.

Requirements

• High School Diploma/ GED
• 3 years Automotive Maintenance and Repair Experience
• Successfully pass a security sensitive background screening- Required
• Valid Mississippi Class "A" Commercial Driver's License- Required

Nice To Haves

• A.S.E. Certification in Medium/Heavy Duty Truck Repair and/or Automobile Repair- Preferred
