About The Position

As a Material Specialist, you will focus on giving excellent service to our team members. You will be responsible for inventorying materials for our HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Departments within Milestone. Well rely on you to ensure the appropriate materials are ready to be handed to a technician.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must have a clean driving record and current valid driver license
• Previous maintenance experience preferred
• Must be able to comply with Company attendance standards as described in established guidelines
• Must maintain a well-groomed appearance per Company appearance standards as described in established guidelines
• Must meet confidentiality expectations as to confidential, proprietary, and sensitive Company information
• Must be a U.S. citizen or have authorization to work in the United States as defined by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986
• Must be able to pass Drug Screen and Background Check

Responsibilities

• Creating purchase orders, requisitioning material, and reconciling shipping receipts
• Answering phone calls from technicians
• Locating specialty parts
• Keeping track of serialized items
• Helping technicians at the front counter
• Creating end of day pick tickets and restock orders
• Vendor relations
• Proficient in and assisting with Shipping and Receiving Technician
• Willingness to help in any other areas needed
• Maintain a clean working environment
