About The Position

The Fleet Manager at The Guild of St. Agnes is responsible for overseeing the operational tasks related to the maintenance and improvement of the Transportation Department's fleet of approximately 60 vehicles. This part-time role involves ensuring safe and reliable transportation for children attending the agency's programs, collaborating with operations personnel, and implementing best practices for vehicle maintenance.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Active MA Drivers license (CDL with Passenger Endorsement preferred).
• At least 5 years of maintenance or related experience required.
• At least 3 years of fleet or equipment maintenance management experience with a proven track record of delivering strong operational results.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Solid computer skills in MS Word and Excel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain the Transportation Department's fleet of vehicles.
• Collaborate with the Director of Capital Planning and Management to ensure regular vehicle purchases.
• Order urgent or emergency repairs as needed.
• Develop and implement best practice standards for vehicle maintenance.
• Ensure all repairs and maintenance on vehicles are completed.
• Provide reports on budgeting, schedules, and maintenance of the fleet.
