About the position

The Fleet Manager position at Rusnak Auto Group involves overseeing fleet accounts and ensuring efficient operations within the new vehicle department. This role is crucial for achieving sales goals and maintaining exemplary service for fleet accounts, contributing to the company's strategic objectives in the luxury automotive market.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all fleet accounts and records are consistently maintained.
  • Support the new vehicle department operations as needed.
  • Solicit commercial fleet accounts.
  • Ensure quality of deliveries of all fleet sales.
  • Follow up on dealership payment for delivered fleet, lease company, and commercial account vehicles routinely.
  • Supply the new vehicle department manager with monthly forecasts of fleet car and truck deliveries.
  • Maintain contact with federal, state, and/or local government agencies and utilities to secure fleet business, utilizing the bidding process.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet business and processes.
  • Provide out-of-stock service for fleet accounts and local leasing companies in conjunction with the new-vehicle department manager.
  • Follow up with any issues of delivery and/or delays.
  • Supply specifications as needed for orders.
  • Build internal and external client relations and retention by providing exemplary service.

Requirements

  • UTI or trade school graduate preferred or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 or more years of experience with fleet sales.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • At least eighteen (18) years of age.
  • Current California Driver License with satisfactory Department of Motor Vehicle driving record.
