Enterprise Fleet Management, in collaboration with our sister company Enterprise Rent-A-Car, is offering a paid summer internship that goes far beyond the basics. This is not your average internship — it’s a crash course in how businesses operate across Maryland, from local nonprofits and government agencies to NYSE-traded corporations and private equity-backed firms. Interns will gain true outside sales experience, working alongside seasoned professionals to solve real business challenges, optimize fleet operations, and help organizations save taxpayer dollars and improve efficiency.   • Shadow and support Client Strategy Managers and Sales Executives in real-world business development efforts.
  • Learn how to analyze fleet data, present financial solutions, and deliver value to clients.
  • Participate in ride-alongs, client meetings, and sales strategy sessions.
  • Gain exposure to government procurement, nonprofit operations, and corporate fleet management.
  • Collaborate with Enterprise Rent-A-Car teams to understand the full scope of mobility solutions.
  • Complete a capstone project that showcases your understanding of fleet strategy and sales execution.
  • Must be a senior or rising senior enrolled full time in a bachelor's degree program at a 4-year college or university with an anticipated graduation date between August 2026 and May 2027.
  • Must have a Business or Communications related major.
  • Must have 6 months (can be non-concurrent) of sales or customer service or marketing or leadership experience.
  • Must have satisfactory background check inclusive of driving (no more than 2 moving violations and/or at fault accidents in the past 3 years, and no drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the last 3 years).
  • Must have a valid driver's US license for one year.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
  • Must be living in Baltimore or surrounding county for the summer (Baltimore, Anne Arundel, Carroll, Howard, or Harford).
  • Must be able to start end of May 2026.
  • Must be able to commit to a 30-40 hour work week.
  • Must be able to commit to 12 weeks.
