About The Position

ATG is seeking a dedicated and self-starting Fleet Maintenance Technician to be the single point of contact for the health and reliability of our essential company vehicles. This is a critical role for someone who is ready to own the maintenance program—from scheduled preventative care to expert diagnostics and repair. What You'll Be Doing Reporting directly to the Health, Safety, Vehicle and Environmental Compliance Manager, you will be the expert responsible for maximizing the uptime and longevity of our fleet of parts delivery vans and company vehicles.

Requirements

  • Proven professional knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair is essential.
  • High school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • One to three years of related professional experience is preferred.
  • Must be able to work safely in a shop environment with noise and odors present.
  • Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods.
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform required tasks.
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Independent Operator: Highly self-motivated and comfortable managing your daily workload and schedule with minimal supervision.
  • Organized and Detail-Oriented: Strong organizational, time management, and computer proficiency skills to maintain detailed tracking and records.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Expert Diagnostics & Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues using diagnostic tools and software.
  • Preventative Maintenance Ownership: Proactively schedule, track, and perform all routine preventative maintenance (PM) by monitoring mileage, hours, and service intervals.
  • Issue Resolution: Monitor driver-reported issues and ensure all repairs are addressed quickly and completely.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Maintain meticulous, accurate maintenance and repair records for every vehicle to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
  • Shop Management: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times, strictly adhering to all safety protocols.
