About The Position

The Fleet Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising and providing direct leadership to technicians in the maintenance shop. This role involves managing workflow, assigning tasks, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of maintenance work and repairs, ensuring quality and efficiency in service delivery.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (accredited).
• 4 years of relevant work experience (in addition to education requirements).
• Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and provides direct leadership for technicians.
• Manages workflow and assigns tasks in the maintenance shop.
• Coordinates and supervises all maintenance work and repairs, monitoring progress and quality.
• Reviews driver repairs and other maintenance requests, preparing work order documents.
• Performs mechanical duties as needed.
• Monitors inventory of replacement parts and restocks as necessary.
• Oversees personnel, including coaching, training, evaluating employee performance, and conducting disciplinary actions as needed.
• Provides input into termination, compensation, and promotion decisions.
• Interprets and ensures consistent application of organizational policies and safety regulations.
• Creates and submits reports as necessary.
