Your regular duties will involve coordinating, scheduling, and auditing vehicle maintenance repairs, including preventative, mechanical, and electrical work on tractors, trucks, and trailers. You will also be responsible for the hiring, training, and ongoing development of vehicle maintenance technicians to meet customer expectations. Preferred candidates should have at least 3+ years of experience in fleet vehicle maintenance overseeing technicians, while minimally qualified candidates require at least 3 years of team management experience in an environment with strong operational metrics. This role offers a path to leadership within Penske and does not require a mechanic background.
