About The Position
As our Shop Service Manager , you’ll oversee the 24/7 maintenance operations of a busy diesel truck repair shop. You’ll manage a team of skilled technicians, ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards, and deliver superior service to our customers—all while fostering a positive, productive, and safe workplace.
Requirements
- 10+ years diesel technician experience.
- 5+ years shop management experience.
- Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
- Familiar with DOT & OSHA regulations.
- Proficient computer skills.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and support shop staff with TCI’s Core Values at the forefront.
- Oversee preventative maintenance, repairs, and fleet needs.
- Ensure compliance with DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements
- Build strong relationships with customers and address service concerns.
- Recruit, train, and mentor top talent.
- Manage budgets, costs, and operational productivity.
- Conduct regular safety and shop meetings.
