We are seeking a motivated and responsible Wonderful Scholar for a full-time internship. In this position, you will gain hands-on professional experience and learn how the department runs. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to: developing an understanding of precision harvest equipment and its components, learning fleet inventory, documentation, and ag-shop operations, analyzing fleet data to optimize shop efficiency, creating guides that assist in both the technical repairs as well as the safety standards and expectations for the tasks, and assisting in the development of a sustainable mechanic repair standardization guide for the department.

  • Develop an understanding of precision harvest equipment and its components.
  • Learn fleet inventory, documentation, and ag-shop operations.
  • Analyze fleet data to optimize shop efficiency.
  • Create guides that assist in both the technical repairs as well as the safety standards and expectations for the tasks.
  • Assist in the development of a sustainable mechanic repair standardization guide for the department.
  • Must be a Wonderful Scholar in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year of college.
  • Enrolled in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program with studies focused on Ag mechanics, Engineering, Operations, or a related field.
  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-directed and able to work autonomously.
  • Energetic and able to tackle new projects and ideas.
  • Ability to write and present reports as requested.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
  • CA Valid Driver’s License.
  • Pay rate: $18.50/hr
