Part-time Fleet Fuel Driver
About The Position
We are looking for our next team member who wants to work hard and desires a work/life balance. Are you the Fueler to fill this position? The Fleet Fuel Driver position involves driving a fuel tanker to a local yards to meet customer fueling needs. ALWAYS local. ALWAYS off on weekends. Monday Friday Various Hours Responsible for loading and unloading fuel at the rack or yard Responsible for documenting all the fuel dropped in each piece of equipment and moving the truck as needed to be the most cost proficient Use of bobtail truck to pump out tanks and deliver fuel to ASTs and USTs Minor truck and tank maintenance as needed $21 to 23 per hour, depending on experience Sound interesting?
Requirements
- Must be at least 23 years old
- 2 years and 100,000 verifiable tractor/trailer or bobtail driving experience
- No more than 1 moving violation in 3 years
- Must pass DOT physical, drug testing and criminal background check
- Class A and/or B CDL with Hazmat & Tanker endorsement
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Familiar with DOT regulations
Nice To Haves
- Previous fuel experience preferred, but we will train
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tanker truck and promptly report any necessary repairs
- Fueling fleet vehicles, equipment, and tanks to a variety of locations
- Accurately track and document delivery activity on daily paperwork
- Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip truck inspections
- Effectively communicate with internal and external customers regarding concerns
