About The Position

Experienced Mechanic – Join the Wolfe House Movers Team Wolfe House Movers is looking for an experienced, hands-on mechanic to join our team at our Bernville, PA facility. For over 40 years, Wolfe House Movers has been one of the leading structural moving companies in the country, relocating historic homes, large commercial structures and heavy buildings that most people would say can’t be moved. Our fleet of specialized trucks, trailers and heavy equipment makes that possible— and keeping that equipment in top working order is critical to our success. We’re looking for a skilled mechanic who takes pride in their work, can diagnose problems quickly and enjoys working on a variety of equipment in a fast-paced shop environment. Requirements

3+ years of mechanical experience working on trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, or similar machinery
Experience with trailer maintenance and repair preferred (brakes, suspension, electrical, air systems)
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to perform preventative maintenance, inspections and repairs independently
Familiarity with hydraulic systems or heavy equipment (preferred)
Basic welding or fabrication skills are a plus
Ability to work safely and maintain an organized shop environment
Must have own basic mechanic tools
Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus but not required)
Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and work in a hands-on shop environment
