Driver (Part-Time)
About The Position
We are looking for Part-Time Drivers to transport passengers in a comfortable, safe and timely manner. The ideal candidate has excellent organizational and time management skills, which helps them be efficient with their work. Essentially, providing a clean, enjoyable ride and safe driving practices while maintaining a positive and pleasant attitude. Pay is $18/hour plus tips and incentives. To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements: 25 years or older Valid drivers license A successful background check and motor vehicle license record check A successful drug screen, including marijuana You are not required to provide or use your own vehicle or car insurance to be employed at 8Fleet. We will provide a fully insured vehicle for use during your shift.
Requirements
- A valid California driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Availability to take weekend and night shifts as required
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (ex: at rush hour)
Responsibilities
- Pick up passengers at their designated locations and safely transport them to their destination, adhering to traffic laws and regulations, and practice safe driving habits
- Provide a positive and professional experience for passengers including greeting them, assisting with luggage, and addressing any passenger inquiries and requests
- Ensure the vehicle remains clean, safe, and comfortable for all riders
- Utilize GPS and routing apps to learn and determine efficient travel routes
