Benefits for Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians Health Plan Dental Plan Vision Plan RX Plan Company-paid life 401(K) Plan with company match Short Term Disability Life Insurance Responsibilities for Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers and drivers Interact with customers and handle requests Using basic computer skills to track and enter repair data Performing preventative maintenance on trucks and trailer equipment Repairing and troubleshooting components such as engines, transmissions, and chassis components Keep the work area clean and safe Perform vehicle diagnostics Learn new skills through Truckway’s technician training Pick up and/or deliver equipment for maintenance Qualifications for Diesel Mechanics / Diesel Technicians Preferred experiences as a Diesel Technician Clean MVR with a Class A or B CDL being a significant plus and pay increase Preferred One year of Fleet or Dealership experience High School diploma or equivalent required Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Deadline and detail-oriented Teammate with a strong sense of dedication to the customer and service team Self-motivated and professional EEO M/F/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.
