About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Alsip, IL. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds.
• Must have a valid Driver's License to operate applicable company vehicles.
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement).

Nice To Haves

• Technical School Certification.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment.
• Diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems.
• Complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system.
• Operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls.
• Ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed 'roadworthy'.
• Install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam).
• Work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety.
• Other duties as assigned.
