About The Position

Reyes Fleet Management is hiring immediately at our Reyes Coca Cola Bottling facility in Alsip, IL. Seeking a Fleet Diesel Mechanic A to help with repairs and maintenance on trailer/tractor equipment. Shift: Full-Time l 3rd Shift Sunday - Thursday 9:00PM-5:30AM Pay: $36.68/HR CDL Incentive Pay (Additional $1.00/per hour with active CDL A license)Preferred but not required Perks and Benefits: Incentive pay Eligibility 0.25 per T Series ASE certification -Maximum $2.00 per hour Paid Time off and holiday pay Career advancement opportunities after 6 months of employment Health, dental, and vision coverage Reyes Rewards and referral bonuses Union Benefits

Requirements

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 3 plus years of related experience
• Ability to lift 50 pounds, occasionally lift 100 pounds
• Must possess own tools (have minimum tool requirement)
• Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record in compliance with Department of Transportation regulations to operate applicable company vehicles

Responsibilities

• The Fleet Technician is responsible for the repair, maintenance, and overhaul of fleet diesel equipment, as well as the diagnostics and rebuilding of clutches and brake systems
• As a Fleet Technician, you will complete thorough documentation for work orders related to repairs and preventative maintenance using the online AssetWorks system
• You will operate a company vehicle to diagnose and repair equipment as part of roadside service calls
• You will ensure that equipment has the required licensing and registration before being deemed "roadworthy"
• You will install, replace, and repair onboard computers (XRS or XataNet) and/or cameras (DriveCam)
• You will work in accordance with company, local, state, and federal policies and regulations to ensure safety
• Other duties as assigned
