About The Position

The Fleet Development Representative at Cirrus Aircraft is responsible for providing sales and business support for Fleet and Special Mission markets. This role involves prospecting, event coordination, demonstration flights, and general sales support to maximize institutional sales and promote Cirrus products in the marketplace. The representative will work closely with the sales team and marketing organization to develop strategies and execute plans that enhance Cirrus's presence in the aviation industry.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Aviation preferred.
  • Private Pilot's License required; Commercial Pilot/Instrument Rating and a career interest in marketing/sales preferred.
  • 1st or 2nd class Medical certificate required.
  • CFI and Cirrus pilot experience preferred.
  • 3-5 years previous business/sales/marketing experience preferred.
  • Advanced MS Office knowledge; computer software and Internet proficiency.
  • Excellent verbal/written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Professional demeanor.
  • Willingness to travel and accept some weekend and overtime assignments.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM software, particularly Salesforce.
  • Knowledge of aviation industry trends and competitive landscape.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Fleet and Special Mission sales team in maximizing institutional sales and promoting Cirrus in the marketplace.
  • Prospect in Flight Training and Special Mission Markets by finding and qualifying fleet and special mission prospects through background research, customer visits, and personal interaction.
  • Prepare and effectively present general and special purpose sales presentations on Cirrus products.
  • Develop and coordinate direct marketing campaigns.
  • Support FSM sales team with the preparation of proposals and presentations.
  • Represent Cirrus and the FSM team at industry trade shows and conferences, including event setup and management.
  • Coordinate with the Cirrus Marketing organization for planning events, advertising, and marketing campaigns.
  • Plan, execute, and provide demonstration flights for potential fleet customers to promote the sales of Cirrus aircraft.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise on Cirrus airplanes and operations.
  • Support sales team with aircraft movements and logistics.
  • Prepare and submit appropriate sales reports and CRM entries in a timely fashion.
  • Develop and maintain awareness of the aviation, FSM market, and general business trends.
