About The Position

Do you enjoy staying organized, solving problems, and working with a great team? We're looking for a Fleet Coordinator to help us keep our vehicles ready to roll. In this role, you'll ensure our fleet runs smoothly by keeping track of cars, coordinating repairs, and supporting all parts of the vehicle process. This is a hands-on job where your attention to detail and communication skills will make a big difference daily. We'd love to hear from you if you're ready to jump in and make things happen! As the Fleet Coordinator, you will ensure that all vehicles are available for rent on time and cost-effectively.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of office experience
  • 2+ years of previous experience within the car rental industry preferred
  • Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends & holidays
  • Excellent management skills, including decision-making skills
  • Self-motivated, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Valid driver's license and clean background

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily inventory of all vehicles
  • Update the status of all idle and out-of-service vehicles daily
  • Monitor overdue rentals and take action as needed
  • Issue POs to vendors
  • Help with the movement of vehicles when needed
  • See that non-rentable vehicles are vented for repair in a very timely manner
  • Respond promptly to all email requests
  • Assist with fleeting and de-fleeting vehicles
  • Coordinate the transfer of cars needing repair and/or maintenance to the respective vendor/facility
  • Assist with all aspects of the vehicle cycle (car arriving at the location/turning back at the end of the cycle)
  • Assist with pulling cars with Safety recalls out of service
  • Maintain an accurate status of the rental fleet, including repair orders, vehicle transfers, and movements
  • Research any inconsistencies
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs and objectives
