To deliver fleet operations support services to the Emergency Services Department
Requirements
Grade 12
A diploma or higher qualification in Fleet, Logistics or Transport Management may be an added advantage
At least two years’ relevant experience in fleet, logistics or transport management
A valid Code B driving licence
Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
Must undergo a criminal record check and such a person shall allow their fingerprints to be taken by the Tshwane Metro Police Department at own cost

Responsibilities
Render fleet management services
Provide, maintain and upgrade the fleet
Dispose of obsolete fleet assets
Oversee budget use
Provide an efficient client service (internally and externally)
Assist with contract management regarding service providers
Set up contracts according to contract specifications
Inspect all vehicles and machinery on delivery
Monitor operational costs that include maintenance, fuel and hiring fleet
Monitor vehicle maintenance records
Ensure that correct processes and policies are followed regarding accidents and incidents, including the completion of relevant systems
Monitor and manage vehicle GPS tracking systems and generate detailed reports Identify work process improvements that will lead to increased productivity and effectiveness in the fleet environment
Refuel vehicles at stations and at major incidents 24/7
