About The Position

The Fleet Associate will collaborate closely with the Fleet team in a fast-paced logistics environment. This role is essential for ensuring vehicle readiness, maintaining inventory, and coordinating repairs, while also providing effective communication with the Operations Team and customers.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Mechanical experience with vans and equipment including an understanding of equipment repair and requirements
• Valid driver's license required
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Computer proficiency
• 1 - 2 years of related experience in a fleet role
• High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

• Experience in fleet management (1 year preferred)
• Flexibility of schedule for van hauling needs

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate inventory of equipment and vehicles
• Coordinate repairs with On-Site fleet vendor
• Replace headlights, side steps, mirrors, top-off fluids, and change tires
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Assist Operations during Loadout and with process improvement
• Communicate fleet status daily and promptly with Operations
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tires
