About The Position

As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work all around the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained and transport them to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll zip around by foot, bike, public transit or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member-ready’ – this might mean changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or helping to coordinate a tow or repair.

Requirements

• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
• Excellent communication with operations team to ensure vehicle status updates.
• Flexibility to work 40 hour weeks including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record.
• Ability to carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Being the front line of the team – our member satisfaction depends on you!
• Ensuring vehicles are clean and maintained for Zipcar members.
• Transporting vehicles to required locations using various modes of transport.
• Changing tires, filling gas tanks, and cleaning vehicles.
• Coordinating tows or repairs as needed.
